Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains, in plain words, what information FlyToIndia.ca collects and what we do with it.

What we collect

• When you sign up for emails: your name, email address and departure city. On our Deal Alerts page you can also choose a preferred destination in India. We also record the date you signed up. We only collect this if you choose to sign up.
• When you visit the site: Google Analytics collects basic visit information, such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, and your general location (city or country level).

How we use it

• To send you fare tips, flight deal emails and travel emails about flying to India.
• To understand which pages are helpful so we can improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information.

Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link: one click removes you from our list right away, with no need to contact us. You can also email us and ask to be removed. We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the US CAN-SPAM Act.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links, including links to Amazon.ca. If you click one and then make a purchase or sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click an affiliate link, the company you visit (for example Amazon) may set its own cookies to record that you came from our site. See our Advertising Disclosure for details.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga and _ga_<ID>) to tell visits apart. We do not use these cookies to identify you by name. We do not currently show ads on this site. If we add ads in the future, we will update this policy first.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Where your information is kept

Email signups are stored in the database that runs this website. Only we can see them.

When you click a link to another site, such as an airline, a booking site, Amazon or a government website, that site's own privacy policy applies.

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us. We follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA).
